This year’s Undergraduate Research Symposium was held on Friday, April 20. The research symposium gives students the opportunity to demonstrate the product of their research efforts and creativity in solving problems with the mentoring of their research advisors. Twelve (12) posters were presented by undergraduate students, and corporate partners of the department judged the competition. The symposium is hosted by the local Omega Chi Epsilon (OXE) chapter and the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

The Scholarships and Awards Ceremony is held on the same day as the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Friends and families of the award winners are invited to attend the awards ceremony and reception. The scholarships are donations given by alumni, corporate partners, student organizations, and other special donations to reward students for their academic achievements.
