Student with Kenis group wins poster award at international conference

Daria S. Khvostichenko, a graduate student in the research group of Department Head and Professor Paul J.A. Kenis, was the recipient of the Best Poster Award at the 14th biannual International Conference on the Crystallization of Biological Macromolecules.

She presented her poster during the conference that took place September 23 to 28 in Huntsville, Alabama. The title of the poster was “A Microfluidic Platform for in meso Crystallization and Subsequent X-ray Analysis of Membrane Proteins,” which was authored by Khvostichenko, Jeremy M. Schieferstein, Ashtamurthy S. Pawate,and  Paul J.A. Kenis.

The conference brings together leading experts, experienced researchers, and newcomers to the field of macromolecular crystallization.
