Assistant Professor Mary Kraft and researchers reported that lipids may not be arranged the way researchers thought, coming to that conclusion by using mass spectrometry to visualize synthetic and real lipid membranes. Those findings were presented at the Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry at the American Chemical Society national meeting in New Orleans in April.
