Memorial Stadium | 9:00 a.m. (kickoff at 11:00 a.m.)
Enjoy complimentary food and drinks and catch up with your fellow alumni before you watch the Fighting Illini take on their homecoming opponents, University of Southern California (USC). A limited number of football tickets will be available for alumni on a first-come, first-served basis (limit 4 per household).
REGISTRATION CLOSED
The Homecoming Tailgate is one of a series of ChBE events that will take place during Homecoming weekend. Other events include:
- Graduate Research Symposium (Friday)
- Unit Operations Lab Ribbon Cutting (Friday)
- Alumni and Graduate Awards Ceremony (Friday)
Advance registration for the Awards Ceremony and Homecoming Tailgate is required. Registration is not needed for the Graduate Research Symposium – everyone is welcome to attend.

Gameday Information

Tent location: The Grange Grove tailgate tent map is available below. The ChBE tent will be located on the north side of Grange Grove by Memorial Stadium. There will be a sign outside our tent that says “Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering."
Tickets: if you have confirmed football tickets from ChBE, you can pick them at the tailgate. Any tickets not picked up by kick-off will be forfeited.

Stadium policies: Memorial Stadium has a clear bag policy in place and cashless concessions. The Gameday Guide includes additional information about permitted/prohibited items, fan conduct policies, emergency/safety procedures and more.
Photography: The department plans to capture photographs of this event. Be aware that if you attend, you are consenting to the possibility that your image and likeness may be shared or published by the university for marketing-communications purposes. Please alert the photographer if you don’t want your photograph taken.
