Fast Track Application
Current ChBE Illinois seniors and department alumni with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.1 can take advantage of a simplified Fast Track Application process for the M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering Leadership program.
Qualified Fast Track Applicants are eligible for certain waived requirements, depending on their cumulative undergraduate GPA:
GPA: 3.1 - 3.24
Eligible for:
- Application fee waiver
- One letter of recommendation waiver (two letters will be required instead of three)
GPA: 3.25 or higher
Eligible for:
- Application fee waiver
- Waiver of letters of recommendation requirement (no letters required)
How to apply
Complete the Graduate Application Form. You will be provided an option to request a ChBE M.Eng. waiver based on your status as a current ChBE Illinois student or alumnus and your GPA. Other than the benefits listed above, the application requirements and process and criteria for admission to the M.Eng. program are the same for all applicants. Applications must be submitted by the specified deadlines.
Note: Fast-Track Application applicants are not automatically admitted into the M.Eng. program. Applications will be reviewed by the admission committee.
