Each spring, scholarship awards are given to students in each class level from donations given to the department.

Awards are distributed according to the wishes of donors. This year, more than $64,000 was awarded to more than 30 students. After the scholarship awards ceremony, a reception is held to celebrate the achievements, which takes place with the Undergraduate Research Symposium poster winners. The awards ceremony took place on April 4.
