Charles N. Bell Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Charles (Chuck) Bell, who earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Illinois (1977), MBA from University of Houston (1984) and JD from Southern Methodist (1986). He began his career as a process engineer for M.W. Kellogg before embarking on a lengthy law career, rising to Associate General Counsel of Perot Systems Corp. He and his wife, Catherine Bracken, owned and managed a chain of clothing stores throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area until mid-2023.
