The journal was established to “advance the science of rheology, by publishing high quality peer reviewed articles, invited reviews and peer reviewed short communications.”

Rogers has been on the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Illinois faculty since 2015, where his multidisciplinary research focuses on advanced colloidal, polymeric and self-assembled materials for biomedical, energy and environmental applications.

He has received several honors for his research and teaching, including the Arthur B.
